Doug Johnson rode his bicycle, as a 14-year-old kid, to ogle the 'odd car with the long hood' that stood behind a store on the opposite side of town. Ten years later, a confirmed Cordaholic, he bought this 810 Westchester and used it as daily transportation.

Doug drove his supercharged 812 convertible coupe over 45,000 miles to every Auburn Meet for 30 years, in addition to eastern events of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club.

Doug passed away in October 2002.
